Welcome to Ipswich Little League

Ipswich Little League is an in-town, instructional baseball league for boys and girls ages 4-12. Games and practices are at Town Hall or Bialek Park. No travel is required for Spring baseball.

Shirts, hats, helmets and bats will be provided. Bring a glove and have fun!

Age Ranges/Divisions:

• Bubba Bat: Little League ages 4-6 (note: 6 year olds who completed a year of Bubba Bat have the option to play in Coach Pitch)
• Coach Pitch: Little League ages 6-8*
• AAA: Little League ages 9-10
• Majors: Little League ages 11-12

*Depending on registration numbers, Coach Pitch might be divided into separate "A" and "AA" divisions.

The policy of Ipswich Little League is to have kids the same age play together in the same division. However, exceptions are made for team formation/size, safety reasons, family requests, and coaching needs. Any request to move up or down into a different division will be evaluated by Player Agent and President, and must be approved by the Board. All decisions are made on a case-by-case basis.

Little League is organized by age, not grade. Your child's "Little League Age" is their age on August 31st of the upcoming season. However, you do NOT need to know your child's "Little League Age" to register. The system will put your child into the age-appropriate division. You can also check their Little League age on the Little League International Age Chart or Age Calculator.

For returning players, please use your existing login. You will not have to re-enter your child's information. If you do not have an account, select the "Register" button at the top right of the window. Evaluations and Winter Clinics:

Ipswich will offer indoor clinics for AAA and Majors players ONLY over the winter. All Majors and AAA players are invited to attend all of the Winter Clinics

In order to achieve balanced teams and ensure kids are playing in the appropriate division, ALL players at the AAA and Majors will be evaluated. This is not a tryout, all kids who register will be placed on a team. There are no Evaluations for Bubba Bat and Coach Pitch. Players need only to attend one of the Evaluation sessions.

Evaluations:

Both evaluations will be held at The Sports Factory, 6 Old Elm Street, Salisbury, MA 01952. All AAA and Majors players must attend the evaluation.

Majors: March 1st, 2025 from 5-7 PM

AAA: March 8th, 2024 from 5-7 PM

General Dates/Times for 2025:

Opening Day and Parade: April 27th

Season: April 14th through June 14th

Schedule:

• Bubba Bat plays every Wednesday from 5:30pm to 7pm at Town Hall/Green Street.

• Coach Pitch practices twice a week during the week from 5:30pm to 7pm at Town Hall/Green Street. Practices will most likely be Monday and Thursday or Wednesday and Friday. Games are Saturday mornings/afternoons on Hopping Field located at Bialek (parking entrance off of Kimball Ave).  
  

• AAA schedules are determined for each team by the coaches/league. Each AAA team will meet three to four times a week. Most weeks will have two midweek practices, a midweek game on Tuesday or Wednesday, and a Saturday morning game. AAA plays mainly on Hopping Field at Bialek Park (parking entrance off of Kimball Ave.).

• Majors schedules are determined for each team by the coaches/league. Each Majors team will meet three to four three times per week. Most weeks will have two midweek practices, a midweek game on Tuesday or Wednesday, and a Saturday evening game. The Majors plays on Bowen Field at Bialek Park (parking off of Linebrook Road).

Volunteers

Ipswich Little League is run 100% by volunteers. We are always looking for more help and have a variety of different activities available. If you are interested, please select a “Volunteer Role” during the registration process or talk to your coach or any board member.
